The most common reasons are: the post is from a private channel or group, the content has been deleted, the link is an invite link (t.me/joinchat or t.me/+), the link does not include a message ID number, or the media is restricted from public access by Telegram. Make sure the link points to a specific public post and that you can view it in a browser without logging in.
